Potato-only diet leaves man 'fitter and healthier'

Potato-only diet leaves man 'fitter and healthier'

On January 1, Andrew Taylor vowed to eat nothing but potatoes for an entire year after realizing he was "addicted to food". It's been quite unbelievable to me as well.

On January 1, Mr. Taylor is hosting a catered party for his first real meal since starting the spud diet but said he'd be happy to eat potatoes again.

"I tried a lot of things".

Andrew Taylor has spent the last 12 months eating nothing but potatoes in a radical attempt to shed the kilos.

Now just under two weeks from fulfilling his pledge, Mr. Taylor said he's lighter, happier and wants to spread the good word.

"I'm trying to deal with my addiction", he said.

'Potatoes came up as being the best choice.

"I had a realization I was a food addict and it got me thinking about how if you're an alcoholic you quit alcohol or a drug addict you quit drugs", he said.

He had started exercising one month into his diet but said this had not played a major role in his weight loss.

Soldiers flee from bullet rounds pelting them on the beach , while the bodies of already dead soldiers dot the ground. The film boasts an all-star cast, and Harry is joined by Tom Hardy, Kenneth Branagh, Cillian Murphy and Mark Rylance.

Taylor said that he was sleeping better, had lost more than 50kg and was generally a more happy person thanks to only eating potatoes.

"I do think the majority of what I eat will still be potatoes", he told News.com.au.

"Potatoes have been really good to me this year and I plan to continue eating them".

He's also managed to keep his social life and takes his own potatoes to friends' dinner parties. In his first video, Taylor was carrying 6kg of potato in his backpack.

He said he would go through between three and four kilograms of potatoes every day.

An Australian man has revealed the secret to his astonishing weight loss this year - and it involves potatoes, lots of potatoes.

He said he had no particular cravings for what he would eat at the breakfast and had asked the catering company to "surprise him".

"Eventually this potato diet will not be enough to sustain a healthy body and we will see other issues start to develop such as eye issues from lack of vitamin A consumption and blood and energy issues from lack of B12 and bone health issues from low calcium", Cuthers said.

According to Cuthers, any sort of extreme diet was likely to work out poorly in the long term.
