Obviously, we also heard rumors about the Galaxy S8 featuring a dual-camera system, but it didn't feature it. The Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8 Plus will also be retailed by Reliance Jio that's offering a double data plan to prospective buyers that includes 56GB of data for 309 INR (approximately $5) per month.

Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus is running on Android 7.0 Nougat right out of the box. The phonemaker has said that Bixby voice commands will not be activated until spring.

Those who preorder the device will get a free wireless charger that supports fast charging. While the rear camera is largely the same as the one in last year's Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge, Samsung has made software tweaks to enhance post-processing that should result in slightly better results.
