Cleveland Cavaliers to play Toronto Raptors in the next round

The 25-point lead was gone. The Raptors won 92-89 to win the series.

The Raptors move on to face the Cleveland Cavaliers in the Eastern Conference semifinals, a series that starts Monday.

Milwaukee is 2-5 ATS in its last seven games at home.

In the past this might have unsettled the Raptors but these are not the Raptors who cower at the sight of an early deficit anymore.

But the angst was just beginning. They returned to practice on Wednesday (Thursday, Manila time) after a brief break from what has been an increasingly rugged series. The ball wasn't just sticking.

Toronto wrestled the lead back in the nail-biting final minutes on buckets from Patrick Patterson, Cory Joseph and DeRozan. Terry connected on a three to make it just a two-point game with 16 seconds left. "And that's what we're going to need to do next round because the next team is waiting". "A little too selfish on the offensive end, not communicating on the defensive side and they took advantage of that". "And the whole building is against you on the road". "Like everything else in this league, you've got to play above the noise".

Somehow amongst all those voices the message got through and a semblance of calm returned.

Milwaukee's Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 34 points and grabbed nine rebounds in 47 minutes but went 7 of 13 from the free-throw line.

"You still have to win on the road, winning in Cleveland is hard", coach Dwane Casey said. "To close out on the road is one of the hardest things to do in the National Basketball Association, I don't care who you are, what team you are, it's very difficult to do".

Labour holds manifesto meeting as leak reveals radical plans
The manifesto also contains a pledge to hike taxes for those who earn more than 80,000 pounds a year (roughly $103,491). The manifesto indicates a further levy on firms "with high numbers of staff on very high pay".

Even in a disappointing series loss, there were good things on display for these young Milwaukee Bucks. The last two both ended in Game 6, and both ended painfully.

P.J. Tucker made that clear for anyone willing to listen.

That lead swelled to 25 points in the third, but then Milwaukee made it very tense for Toronto in a last gasp.

Bucks' veteran guard Jason Terry also came up big with two late three-pointers.

"Just to stay away from that would be great because we could go out there and play until exhaustion for 48 minutes".

They hope their resilience helps make them stronger as they get ready to face the Cleveland Cavaliers again. "Give them credit, they slowed us down". I thought that's what this year was going to be about but everything turned around.

But now, the hard part: they've got to do it, and win. On that possession (that Patterson ended with a thunderous dunk) that is exactly what we did. The big man in the middle for the Bucks has been averaging in the low single digits in every category during the postseason.

Patterson said that should be the takeaway from the entire series.

While Milwaukee may not have many isolation players to turn to outside of Middleton and Monroe in the post, they need to look for better ways to get their best players involved in the game. They trapped Kyle and DeMar and Kyle and DeMar made the extra pass. DeRozan was 7 of 13 for a game-high 16 points in the first half. Hopefully we focus more on that than what happened during that letdown.
