If we bring our "A" game, we can beat anybody: Mickey Arthur

If we bring our

India have already beaten Pakistan in the ongoing tournament during the preliminary stage.

"He's fit to play, and he will play", said Arthur in answer to a question from AFP.

On Sunday, India will meet Pakistan in the final of the Champions Trophy, an global cricket tournament played once every four years.

"If we can get amongst them with the new ball, we can expose the middle order that hasn't batted much in this competition - so that's pretty much our aim and focus".

India are favourites to retain the Champions Trophy today but they would probably have preferred to face different opponents than arch-rivals Pakistan in what is sure to be a highly-charged final at The Oval. We have practiced the same way as we started the day we came here. "And you have to be close to reality and you can't live in a dilemma and you have to focus on the things that you have to do on the field", he added. We dissected India a lot before that game at Edgbaston but we've backtracked a bit on that.

"It is true that my nephew Sarfraz Ahmed is playing for Pakistan and we wish him and his team all the very best". You can't ignore it also and have to maintain a balance. Although the Pakistan team doesn't have the same pedigree as the Indians, they have been some notable performances by their young opener Fakhar Zaman, leggie Shadab Khan, Hasan Ali and seam duo of Mohammad Aamir and Junaid Khan which sparked up the team's journey to the finals. Pakistan's two wins have come in this tournament, in 2004 and 2009. However, Pakistan has tasted success against India at the Champions Trophy winning two of the four games against them.

Following that humbling defeat to their archrival, the Pakistanis had to beat South Africa and Sri Lanka, and did so.

In the last two encounter between the two sides, India inflicted a crushing 124 run victory over Pakistan at Edgbaston, Birmingham on June 4.

The match is slated to start at 10:30 a.m. local time (5:30 a.m. ET/3 p.m. IST) from The Oval in London.

Pathan says it will be a battle between India's batting and Pakistan's bowling.

India: Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, Virat Kohli (captain), Yuvraj Singh, MS Dhoni, Hardik Pandya, Kedar Jadhav, Ravindra Jadeja, Ravichandran Ashwin, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Jasprit Bumrah.

"They have to connect with things that really matter - things that a sportsman needs to take care of in the build-up to a huge occasion".

"We have to (attack), we've got no option. In the PSL we're getting all our top players rubbing shoulders with some of the best players around the world, so that is rubbing off on our cricket now, where certainly there had been a void for a period of time".
