Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain wanted by Chelsea, Liverpool and Man City

Chelsea have chose to join the chase for Arsenal winger Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, as reported by Sky Sports.

The 23-year-old was one of Arsenal's top performers during the closing weeks of the season, which saw them finish their Premier League campaign strongly and win the FA Cup. It seems quite timely that interest is growing in his client as his contract runs down, and so this is certainly adding pressure on Arsenal to offer an attractive deal in order to get the England global to commit his future.

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is an admirer - as revealed by SunSport - while Liverpool are also keen.

He can play as both a central midfielder, a winger or more recently as a wing-back, something which interests Antonio Conte.

The England global played 45 games for Arsenal last season but is no nearer to penning a new contract despite his current deal expiring next year.

David Griffin's run with the Cleveland Cavaliers is over after one championship and three straight trips to the NBA Finals. Lonzo Ball of UCLA is expected to go No. 2 to the Lakers, although the sides have yet to reach agreement on a deal.

Despite making 29 Premier League appearances for Arsenal over the course of last season, Oxlade-Chamberlain only completed the full 90 minutes on six occasions.

The Gunners star is locked in talks with the club over an extension to his Emirates Stadium contract, which now has just 12 months left to run.

According to a Daily Mail report the dynamic and unsafe 23-year old had been led to believe that the talks over a new deal would be done quickly, but with the season ending weeks ago the Gunner is beginning top wonder what the delay is. This puts Arsenal in the same position they are in with Alexis Sanchez - convince the player to sign a new deal, sell him now or lose a valuable asset for nothing next summer.

And Sky Sports claim that Blues are the latest club to show an interest in the Gunners midfielder.
