Shaken it off! Taylor Swift ends Spotify spat

Taylor's five albums will now be available on Spotify, Pandora, Tidal, Amazon and other streaming platforms, her representative confirmed to Billboard.

Sharing a post on Instagram that celebrated Taylor Swift's album, 1989, selling over 10 million copies, the Blank Space singer apparently wanted to thank her fans by making all her music available to stream.

Swift's management team announced that the decision was made to celebrate her 1989 album surpassing 10m sales worldwide, as well as the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) announcing her 100m Song Certifications.

The "Shake It Off" hitmaker famously removed her music from streaming services in 2014, slamming companies for not paying artists proper royalties during free trials.

She had limited her tracks to Spotify's rival, Apple Music, after convincing it to pay artists more.

The announcement by Swift may ramp up rivalry with Perry, 32, who released her new album's first single, "Swish Swish", last month.

The former friends allegedly fell out after Perry reached out to some of Swift's dancers in 2012 to see if they would work with her on her upcoming "Prismatic" tour. To release your entire music catalogue just to say "F*ck you" to one specific person?

It just happens to be the day that Katy releases Witness and tickets for her United Kingdom tour go on sale.

The "Bad Blood" singer previously pulled out her then latest album, "1989", from Spotify in October 2014. However, the Roar singer recently opened up about it during an episode of Carpool Karaoke with chat show host James Corden, saying she tried to reach out to Taylor and make amends but it was "a full shut down". In a new interview, Katy accused Taylor off attempting to "assassinate my character" in the song Bad Blood.

@Jazzdragon wrote: "I have no loyalty with any artists on music but after what Taylor Swift just did, I'm listening to Katy Perry's new album".

She added: "I said that but, I mean, I'm not Buddha - things irritate me".

Perry, whose string of hits have dominated mainstream radio and teenage girls' playlists for the past decade, evidently has had her fill of producing anthemic synth-pop.
