Ant-Man and the Wasp Adds Walton Goggins to Its Cast

According to Deadline, something very very special just happened: Walton Goggins - the secret weapon of virtually every project in which he has ever appeared - has just joined Peyton Reed's Ant-Man sequel, Ant-Man And The Wasp.

Goggins also just wrapped up a starring role in the History Channel drama SIX, about the Navy's elite Seal Team Six; the show has been renewed for a second season, but Goggins will not return.

Goggins is best known for playing Shane Vendrell in FX's The Shield and Boyd Crowder in Justified.

According to Deadline, there's now little to no information about Goggins' role in the sequel.

'Justified" and "Hateful Eight' star Walton Goggins is joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe... The new film is scheduled for release on July 6, 2018.

Evangeline Lily, Michael Douglas and Michael Pena are also set to return to the "Ant-Man" franchise, with Rudd and Gabriel Ferrari having written the screenplay. At present, the movie's plot is kept a secret.
