Expect a cloudy, hot and humid Sunday

Heading out the door Sunday morning, you can expect cloudy skies, patchy fog, drizzle, a few light showers and damp roads, so take it slow. More scattered showers and storms move in Monday with temperatures a little cooler in the upper 80s from more clouds and rain.

Drier conditions and warmer temperatures are in the forecast to round out the weekend.

Monday will trend about 10 degrees cooler, with most of the lower elevations in the 70s to low 80s. A subtropical ridge of high pressure will also strengthen over the area. Overnight lows will stay in the low 60s with some clouds here and there. A high-pressure system to the south of the area will help continue showers into the afternoon and evening hours. Highs in the 80s statewide. Temperatures reaching the upper 90s in the afternoon with the possibility of an isolated storm or two once again.

Dortmund's Dembele remains suspended over missed training
With over two weeks left of the summer transfer window, Borussia Dortmund are now in a rather sticky situation. Dortmund won 4-0 at Rielasingen-Arlen in the DFB Pokal on Saturday.

Today: Mostly sunny and handsome, turning less humid this afternoon.

After a soaking rain across especially the northern half of North Texas last night and into this morning, a repeat today is unlikely.
